Archaeologist, storyteller, musician, host — and founder of Vintage Van Experience.
Gianmarco is an archaeologist by training, a musician by passion and a host by nature.
After years of studying Rome's history and welcoming travelers from around the world through his work as a property manager, he realized something important: most visitors see Rome, but very few truly experience it.
That idea became Vintage Van Experience.
Not a traditional tour, but a journey through stories, traditions, hidden places and local life.
Aboard Nando, the beloved 1979 Fiat 900, guests are invited to discover Rome as if stepping into a time machine — not through dates and technical explanations, but through people, anecdotes, legends and the connections between past and present.
The goal is simple: to help travelers see Rome with new eyes.
Because Rome is more than monuments.
It is stories passed down through generations, hidden viewpoints, neighborhood traditions, local flavors and unexpected encounters.
Vintage Van Experience was created to share that side of Rome with curious travelers from around the world.
